OBITUARY - WILLIAM RONALD CHADWICK
William Ronald Chadwick was born on August 31, 1937, in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, and passed away on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021 in Sarasota, Florida at the age of 83.
Ron graduated from Canonsburg High School and entered the United States Air Force as a Weapons Mechanic, Missile Unit Division, and he always liked to share his special experience of acting 'Honor Guard for the Queen'. After his military career, Ron joined the Boilermakers as a Welder, Union 154, residing most of his life in Washington, PA. After his retirement, Ron and Joyce moved to Sarasota to be near family.
Ron married Joyce on May 19, 1981 in Washington, PA, where they both enjoyed spending many years of fun times with friends and family. Ron had a very unique sense of humor, was "a character of all characters" and had the very special knack of always making everyone around him happy! Ron was a big Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Penguins sports fan and his hobbies were hunting, fishing, metal-detecting and coin collecting. Ron enjoyed working part-time at Charles the Cobbler Shoe Repair and Nello Construction Company. Ron had a deep Christian faith, and he wrote lots of poetry to the love of his life, Joyce!
Ron is survived by his wife Joyce Chadwick and;
His sister, Wilma Gasmire (Houston, Pennsylvania); nieces Nancy Saunder, husband Fred; Debbie Cooper, husband Terry; and Jamie Leichty, husband Mike; Nephews Kevin Gasmire and Don Gasmire, wife Bernadette; stepsister, Bonnie Weppler; stepbrother, Jim Chadwick
(deceased).
His son, Brandt John Lee Chadwick (deceased), grandsons, Michael Anthony Chadwick and wife Marcie (West Palm Beach, Florida), Brian Patrick Chadwick and wife Jae (Largo, Florida);
His son, Christopher Scott Chadwick, wife Cinda, grandsons Christopher Thomas Chadwick and Michael Brandt (New Port Richey, Florida);
His son, Keith Alan Chadwick, wife Lynn (Naples, Florida);
His step-children, Randy John Crosson, wife Lessie (Sarasota, Florida) and Kimberly Lynn Thompson, husband Dean, and grandchildren Giulia Maren and Dean Charles (Sarasota, Florida);
His sister-in-law, Janet Torriero and Frank Fontana (Naples, Florida)
His nephew, Gino Torriero, wife Mali, and great-nephews Luca and Nello.

MILITARY FUNERAL
A Military Memorial Service for William Ronald Chadwick is scheduled to commence at 2:30 and will end promptly at 3:00 pm on Monday, April 19th, at the Sarasota National Cemetery located at 9810 State Road 72, Sarasota, Florida 34241.
*Please arrive at 2:15 for car line-up and escorted drive to the shelter.
