Wendy Louise Burke

Wendy L. Burke, age 73, of Sarasota,FL passed away on November 11th, 2022. Wendy will be missed greatly by her two daughters, Kellie Hollinger (Brad) of Sarasota, FL, and Kimberly Comito (Anthony) of Tampa, FL. She was the loving grandma of two grandsons; Anthony (Tony) Comito and Jaxson Comito of Tampa, FL.   She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard M. Risser and Queenie E. Risser, and her brother, Richard Risser. 

 Wendy was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 3rd, 1949. She moved to Florida, and was a graduate of Sarasota High school. She raised her girls in Sarasota and worked as a Records Clerk until she retired. 
 
 There will be an open house celebration of life at Evie’s, The Point in Osprey, FL from 3-6pm on November 21st, 2022 for all who love her. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in Wendy's honor to Tidewell Hospice in Sarasota, Florida.
