Thomas Floyd Cornthwait

Thomas F. Cornthwait March 20th, 1954 – Feb 11th, 2019 passed away at the age of 64 years. Born in Sharon PA, he and his family moved to Florida in 1959. Tom grew up and attended school in Sarasota, Florida graduating from Sarasota High School in 1972. He moved to Bradenton in 1980. Tom was a Diehard Chevy man, the 72 c10 short bed was his favorite truck. Tom was witty with a sense of humor that made others laugh. He showed his joy and pride through carpentry, a skill he mastered as his life’s profession. He built numerous homes including the log cabin that his mother still lives in to this day. He was a carpenter by trade and a best friend at heart. Tom was a man of strength and integrity. He always did what he could for others and was a good father to his son Justin. He had a huge heart and he will never be forgotten.
He is preceded in death by his father, Floyd Cornthwait, and nephew Randy Parks. He is survived by his son Justin Cornthwait, his endearing mother Mildred Cornthwait, his sisters, Gayle Chancey (Arthur), Tracy Cornthwait (Jay Star), Janet Parks (Rick) and younger brother Gary Cornthwait (Donna Jervis). Tom was loved by his many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
