Susan DiBona

Susan (Peloquin) DiBona, aged 70, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2024, in Sarasota, FL. She was born on 10/24/1953, in Cambridge, MA, to Mary and Andrew Peloquin. She has lived in MA, NH, and FL and extensively traveled the United States and beyond. She attended St. Elizabeth’s School of Nursing and spent her life caring for others, both working in hospitals and as a Hospice Director in Boston, MA and Laconia, NH and in her personal life. She marriedPaul DiBona, her high school sweetheart, on June 28, 1974. Sue was kind, thoughtful, and always looking out for others. Spending time with her family and traveling, especially to Disney World, were her two biggest passions. No matter where she was you could find her with a deck of cards or a board game, and a lot of laughter. She was an avid quilter who always had many projects going, usually to gift to someone else. She is survived by her husband, Paul; daughters Julie DiBona (Christina Liberatore) and Elizabeth DiBona (Jim Rogers); a son, Stephen DiBona (Jessica DiBona); her sisters, Joan Walker and Janet O’Neil; her beloved grandchildren, Phoebe, Myles, Ella, Cole, and Calvin; and several nieces and nephews that she adored. She is predeceased by her parents and her brother, Andrew. The family welcomes donations to Tidewell Hospice House in Sarasota, FL as an expression of sympathy instead of flowers.
