Ruby Crowder Barth Zeigler

Ruby Crowder was born July 14, 1928, in Trimble, TN. She was the youngest child of Granville and Fannie Crowder. The family moved to Sarasota, FL when she was 12 years old. She graduated from Sarasota High School in 1946. Ruby married Charles Barth in 1947. They raised four children. Charlie passed away in 1985. Ruby married Harold Zeigler in 1993, and he died in 2013. Ruby is survived by her children, Sherry Lauter-Davis of Winlock, WA, Charles Gregory Barth of Ocala, FL, Nancy Poffenbarger (Larry) of Sarasota, FL, and Mark Barth (Debbie) of Auburn, GA. Mamaw had seven Grandchildren who she loved and prayed for; Juli, Brittney, Kyle, Caleb, Maggie Leigh, Destiny and Nora. She also loved her eight Great Grandchildren; Amber, Eden, Madison, Jocelyn, Ava, Lily, Mark and Eden.

Ruby lived to be 96 years old and peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 9, 2024. II Corinthians 5:8 says “We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord” KJV. No services are planned.
