Robert Mitchell

Robert A Mitchell 51 passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday September 17. 

He was born June 19, 1968 in Jersey City New Jersey.

Robert served in the US Navy from 1987 to 1991 aboard the USS Ranger. 

Robert was a 9/11 first responder survivor, he then went on to retire from the NYPD as a detective. 

Robert will be forever loved and sadly missed by his beloved wife Amie Mitchell, son Rob Mitchell, daughter Samantha mitchell, step son Anthony Rowley and Alan Bower, mother and stepfather Cheryl and Anthony Iovino, brothers Joey Arcotta, Leonardo Arcotta

and many close friends.

 

Robert was a selfless kind loving man. Others happiness and needs came before his own. The most important things in his life was the love and well being of his wife and children. ~ Rest peacefully.

 

Services will be held Friday September 27 at 3pm at 

Sarasota National Cemetery
