Piedade Cruz Barbieri 88, of Venice, FL passed away on April 16, 2024. She was born on May 1, 1935 in Valdreu, Portugal.
Piedade (Pia) Loving Mother is survived by Gabriele Barbieri ; son and daughter-in-law Yadira grandchildren Nicholas and Joseph. Daughter; Lisa Maria Menelao and son-in-law Francesco and grandchild Paolo Gabriel Menelao.
Piedade was preceded in death by her husband Gabriel G. Barbieri; daughter Anna Preciosa Barbieri; and her parents Antonio Cruz and Preciosa Cruz; and her brother Manuel Cruz.
Piedade ; A beautiful; loving; kind soul. A loving; patient; put yourself last kind of person. The best Mother her children and grandchildren could have. Giving all of us the best childhood and forever Memories. A Mother who sacrificed it all for her Family.
Everyone had a piece of Pia, she loved to Crochet and she was a machine when she did it. All her Nieces; Nephews; friends; neighbors; sister and brothers had a piece of her beautiful talent that will be heirlooms. Cooking was also a talent; Cooked the best Christmas spent days perfecting her Portuguese dishes. The Garden was her Green Thumb; could make anything grow the most beautiful flowers; it made her so Happy and others too we all have a piece of her garden. Lived a long life; fought the battle of Heart Disease for 45 years she lived for her Family.
A Memorial Service will be set in the near future; when the date is set it will be known.
