Marvin Emery

 We are saddened to announce the passing of Marvin/Mark Emery, the grandfather of Max and Mason and father of Mark, who peacefully passed away at the age of 87 in his cherished home. This home, where he lived with his wife Sis Emery until her passing in 2013, held a special place in his heart. Mark's resilience was evident as he weathered multiple hurricanes, with the most recent storms impacting his property. Born in Sarasota, Mark's son was brought to him and his wife Lynne Eggers in an Easter basket, a memory that made the area particularly special. The Crescent Club, the Old Salty Dog, and Point of Rocks evoke memories of Mark, who shared a special bond with his grandson Max over sports and maintained a strong interest in Mason's life, especially during his recent health challenges. Mark's legacy includes his love for his family, despite being predeceased by his brother Nick Emery and son Mark Emery. His cat Johnny is now in the loving care of friends. We will miss Mark but are comforted by the thought of a joyous reunion with his family, especially his son. With love and peace, the M's.
