Mark Thomas Callaghan, age 74, of Westchester, Illinois, was called home to be with the Lord on August 2, 2025. Born on June 17, 1951, to the late Robert and Dorothy Callaghan, Mark was their only child and lived a life marked by strength, devotion, and a deep, unwavering faith in God. He was a faithful servant whose trust in the Lord shaped every chapter of his journey.
Mark spent much of his early life in the Chicago area, where he completed his education at Marmion Military Academy, Aurora, Illinois and had a long career in Banking and Sales.
Beyond his career, Mark was a man of deep passions and even deeper faith. He had a lifelong love for golf, muscle cars, music and military history. His greatest foundation was his faith that guided him through life’s joys and challenges—strengthened all the more by the love and partnership he shared with his devoted wife, Lynn.
Mark is survived by his beloved wife Lynn Callaghan and children, Cherise Pashcow (Richard), Baylie Callaghan, Jessica Frechette (Nick), grandchildren, Avery and Brooke Frechette. His son, Tommy Callaghan, was called to Heaven ahead of him, and Mark carried his memory with enduring love, drawing comfort and strength from their unbreakable bond and the promise of eternal life.
Mark was cremated through Your Traditions Cremation and Funeral Chapel in Sarasota Florida. Celebration of life scheduled for November 2, 2025 at 11:30 am
