Marilyn Hirsch
10/07/1939 - 01/16/2025
Mom grew up in Bloomfield , NJ She had a wonderful time there, hanging out with friends and her very special cousin Judy. In 1960 Mom married Tom Wefing, my father and I was born. Mom and Tom soon divorced and mom and I moved into what I like call our very loving, somewhat dysfunctional big Italian family. We lived with my grandparents Rocco and Susan Sierchio, my great uncle Al and my great aunt Minnie Centanni as well as my uncle Jerry. Three generations under one roof. My uncle Jerry was dating a wonderful girl by the name of Annmarie, Jerry let Annmarie get away, but not my mother, her and Annmarie remained best friends until moms death. In 1990 mom meet the absolute love of her life, Al Hirsch and they were soon married. Mom and Al had the kind of marriage most people just dream about, I have never seen two people more in love. They moved eleven times during their marriage and mom made friends everywhere the went. They traveled allover the world and enjoyed cruises and they had fun no matter where they went. In July of 2024 mom lost her beloved Al and she was devastated, but she soldiered on. She enjoyed playing mahjong and canasta and hanging out with the "Jersey Girls"
Mom passed away on January 16th 2025 in Sarasota Memorial hospital with myself and her cousin Judy by her side. Her and Al are together once again.
Marilyn is survived by Her son Ron, Her stepson Andrew, Her daughter in law Christina and granddaughter Alana Ray
