Judy (originally Judith Lee Mann) was born in Washington DC and grew up in the Arlington, VA area. She spent most of her summers in Rehoboth Beach, DE. She graduated from William and Mary College in Williamsburg, VA.
After college Judy worked and traveled extensively through Europe. She later settled down and started a family in Seaford, Delaware, later moving to Bridgeton, New Jersey. Judy became a full time resident of Sarasota in 1984. She lived in Gulf Gate East, Pelican Cove and Palm Island on Siesta Key. Her final residence was in Swifton Villas. She loved to tell stories of her adventures and places she had visited. She became an avid RV owner and traveled all around the state of Florida with her dog Barkley. Judy was a proud member of the Moose, the Eagles and the Elks. She enjoyed hanging around her many friends and was quick with a joke and to light up a smoke.
She is survived by her son James (aka Toby) and wife Lynn and also her son John (aka Jack) and wife Hope. Also survived by her miniature poodle Cappy who now lives with Jack in New Jersey.
