John W. Balfe

On October 30 , 2020 John William Balfe left this earthly plane and headed for parts unknown. John was born the only son of Edgar and Dorrace Balfe on March 19, 1955. Although, the only son he wasn’t an only child and has 2 sisters, Nancy and Debbie. John was born and raised in Islip, NY and was a proud and true Yankee as evidenced by his attitude and accent. John grew up in a traditional Catholic, Irish home complete with corned beef, cabbage and beer, which John was grateful for as he dearly loved all three things and prepared ever March 17 for his family. After reaching maturity John ended up in Florida, like a proud and true Yankee. During the 80’s John made the courageous/crazy decision to marry, not once but twice. From these 2 marriages John was successful in furthering the Balfe family line with 1 son and 2 daughters. He also was lucky enough to be saddled with 2 step-daughters during that 2nd marriage. And as the years passed as they do, John was gifted with 5 grandchildren.

John was musical and artistic, he loved to play his guitar and sing and his favorite jobs were ones that involved painting. John loved food and to cook food, even working in restaurants for periods of time. John was predeceased by his father Edgar. He is survived by his mother Dorace, sisters Nancy And Debbie , His children John, Jacquelynne  and Aisylynn (Darr). His stepdaughters Jennifer and Alexis (Mike). His grandchildren Kylie, Rebecca, Julie, John and Drake. His nephews Brian, Jeff and Jason , and their families and his Niece/ Goddaughter Tara and her family.
