John Bachman Howard

John Howard, 65, died December 28, 2021 in Sarasota, Florida with his family by his side.   He was born on September 21, 1956 in Louisville, Kentucky and was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Betty Lou Howard.    He is survived by his wife, of 38 years Jennifer, his two sons Christopher and Colby with his spouse Jen Howard as well as his two grandchildren Ryleigh and Jackson.   His sister Betty Jo Miser and Troy Wolfe, his niece Briana Dyche and her spouse Michael as well as their son, Kannon.

John grew up building and working on houses with his father.   He attended Sarasota High School where he made some great friends.  He then developed a love for drag racing which led him to win many races while traveling the country.   He later opened his own repair shop where he loved to work on classic Mopar’s especially his 1970 Dodge Challenger.   He was also a great baseball coach and mentor to many kids in our community.   He had a love for people that showed but his love for his family was limitless.  He was a Great Husband, Father, Grandad and Friend.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, January 30, 2021 at Twin Lakes Park, 6700 Clark Road, Sarasota, Florida at 12:00 p.m.   It would be appreciated if anyone with a classic car bring their car in the celebration of his life.
