Floyd (Fuz) Marion Bevill, age 70, of Bradenton, FL, formerly of Brandenburg/Carrollton, KY, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2022, at PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Sarasota, FL. Floyd was a 1970 graduate of Meade County High School. Floyd retired from Arkema Chemicals in 2004. During his retirement he worked part time at Earl Floyd Ford of Carrollton, KY, Rosedale Golf & Country Club and River Run Golf Links both in Bradenton, FL. Floyd enjoyed spending much of his time with his family and his friends. He loved playing golf, hunting, watching football, and Kentucky basketball. What made him the proudest and brought him the most joy was watching his daughter Lyndsey succeed in the world of golf.
Floyd was born on January 27, 1952, in Louisville, KY. The son of Floyd and Celeste Imogene Puckett Bevill. He is survived by his wife, Monica Westrick Bevill of Bradenton, FL; daughter Lyndsey Bevill of Wesley Chapel, FL; two step children, Todd Crawford, and his wife, Sarah of Union, KY, and Jeffrey Crawford, and his wife, Nikki of Sanders, KY; three grandchildren, Maddie, Max, and Benjamin Crawford; his beloved dog Toby and his loving brothers and sisters, Donna Shacklette, and her husband, Don, Johnny Bevill, and his wife, Rebekah, Libby Myers, and her husband, Rick, Pat Bevill, and his wife Kathy, Bill Bevill, and his wife, Angie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Darlene Lusk.
A celebration of life will be at a later date in Brandenburg, KY.
