Elena Lois Imperiale

Elena Lois Buonocore Imperiale, formerly of Newark, New Jersey, and White Haven, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully in Venice, Florida on March 15, 2026. She was born on November 29, 1932.

 

Elena was the beloved wife of Albert Sr. for 75 years, whom she will be joining in heaven. She is survived by her four children: Phyllis Hill, Edward (and his wife Karen), Albert Jr. (and his wife Robin), and Robert (and his wife Alexia).

 

She was a proud grandmother to Debra, Kimberly, Sara, Christopher, Rachel, Nicholas, Robert, Gina, and Joseph, and a loving great-grandmother to Maya, Jackson, Marina, Daniel, and Brody.

 

Elena found great joy in cooking, gardening, and caring for her flowers. She inspired many through her warmth, generosity, and love of family. A devout Catholic, her faith was a guiding force throughout her life.

 

She was known for her sharp mind, quick wit, and strong independence, living on her own until the age of 93.

 

Grams will be deeply loved and missed by all who knew her.

 

A funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Interment will take place at Sarasota National Cemetery at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 25, 2026.
