Dorothy R. Miller died at Tidewell Hospice on December 26, 2020 in Sarasota, FL. She was 81. Dorothy was born on August 9, 1939 in Elizabeth, NJ to her parents, Clayton and Alice Ramsden. She attended Arthur L. Johnson Regional High School in Clark, NJ. She graduated from Rider College on June 7, 1959 with a degree of Associates in Arts. Dorothy married Robert Miller in April, 1961. The Millers lived in Cranford, NJ, before retiring to Deltona, FL. They subsequently moved to Bradenton, FL, Middleburg, FL, Milford, PA, and then back to Deltona, FL in 2011. They also traveled extensively, including trips to Hawaii and Alaska. After the death of her husband, Dorothy moved to Sarasota, FL. At the time of her death she resided at Brookdale Philippi Creek Assisted Living in Sarasota.
Dorothy is survived by her loving children; her daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Klaus Frost of Sarasota, FL, her daughter and son-in-law, Darlene and Robert Nowicki of Parsippany, NJ, and her son and daughter-in law, John and Susan Miller of Flanders, NJ. She is also survived by her six cherished grandchildren, William and Christina Frost, Kevin and Thomas Nowicki, and Lauren and Lindsay Miller, and her sister, Marjorie Buono. She is preceded in death by her parents and also her sister, Florence Haller, and her brother, Walter Ramsden. A memorial service will follow in NJ.
