Donald Einwag

EINWAG, Donald “Don”, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 10, 2026.  Don was born September 7, 1934 in Pittsburgh PA to German parents Hans Einwag and Margaret Neuser and his brother Walter.  He grew up working in his parent’s Einwag Bakery and attended Carrick High School.   He was a printing associate in Pittsburgh where he lived with his wife Martha Lou Withrow and five children.   Don was a Pittsburgh Steelers fanatic and produced their football program for years.  The family moved to Sarasota FL in 1974 where he continued selling printing and established “One Way Farms”, a commercial landscaping business.   He also loved golf and spent decades playing with friends and family.   

Don had five children, Don H (Vickie) Einwag, Linda (Greg) Penney, Terri (Pat) Layton, Brian (Muffet) Einwag, and Keith (Lisa) Einwag.  He is survived by his wife Sherry Chaffin Einwag, their golden doodle Brie, and children Linda, Terri, and Keith, along with seven  grandchildren, twelve great children and one great, great grandchild.

He will be remembered for his love of sports, animals, farming, sense of humor, dedication to his family and friends, and his Savior.
