Dawna B. Slosman

Dawna Slosman, born in Moncton, New Brunswick, on October 8, 1935, to Beatrice Logan (née Baker) and Harold "Hal" Logan, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2024. She was united in marriage with Everett L. Slosman in 1965, and together they nurtured a loving family, blessed with two sons, Alex and Aaron Slosman.
Dawna's journey was marked by resilience and grace, navigating life's challenges with determination. Her education took her to a boarding school in Germany, where her passion for field hockey and woman's basketball flourished alongside her academic achievements. A remarkable typist, Dawna's skills in transcription were unmatched, a testament to her precision and dedication.
In her later years, Dawna cherished the company of her nephews, David and Todd Logan, finding joy in their visits. Her nephew Steven provided steadfast support with household tasks, reflecting the close bond within the family. Dawna drew strength from the presence her devoted sister Elizabeth "Betty" Colbert (née Logan) and Betty's daughters Lynda and Laurie Colbert whose companionship brought her great solace and warmth. Visits with her niece Jo-Ann Simpson (née Logan) were always a much anticipated joy.
Dawna's legacy extends beyond her immediate family, touching the lives of her grandchildren, Matthew, Michele, and Kaye, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended relatives. Though she has departed from this world, Dawna's spirit of love and resilience will endure in the hearts of all who knew her.
