Christopher John Drier
10/22/1991 - 04/01/2021
Christopher John Drier, 29, of Sarasota, FL passed away on April 1, 2021 of unknown causes.
Christopher was born to John and Lavinia Drier and took his first breath on October 22, 1991. He was a
force to be reckoned with from the get-go, graduating from Riverview High School. He was awarded a
full scholarship to Michigan State University to study Veterinary Medicine and Zoology but was unable
to attend. He dreamed of running a nature preserve in Africa someday.
Christopher was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Larry and Marissa Drier, maternal
grandfather Darrel Bird and his uncle Frank Drier. He is survived by his parents, John and LaVinia Drier,
his sister Lauren Ruggerio nee Drier (Robert), grandmother Victoria Bird, aunt Pam Fortin (Bob), uncle
Marcus Bird (Loretta), cousin Daniel Adams (Ashley), cousin Ashlee Adams, nieces and nephews.
Christopher founded and was a co-owner of Tier 1 Auto Glass based in Sarasota. He was an avid
outdoors man who spent much of his time in nature. He loved to hunt and fish and wanted to learn to
scuba dive and go on a safari in Africa next year. He was a foodie, loved sushi and he really enjoyed
muscle cars and trucks. He spent a lot of his time at Siesta Beach just enjoying the sand, sun and surf. We
will miss him dearly.
Services will be held at Incarnation Catholic Church, 2929 Bee Ridge Rd, Sarasota, FL 34239 on Saturday
April 17th at 10am.
