Brent Blehinger

Brent Blehinger, 50, born in Freeport, IL, a lifelong resident of Wisconsin, and current resident of Venice, FL, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at his Venice home on October 5, 2019. A loving and devoted husband, son, father, step father, brother and friend, Brent will be sadly missed by all. Brent is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Jill Grinnell Blehinger (Nee-Farley), Step Sons Zachary Grinnell, Riley Grinnell; Mother Nel Stearns, Step Father Jerry Stearns; Daughters Meghan Neimon (Jesse Hayes); Alissa Liebchen (Sgt. Charlie Liebchen); Father Keith Blehinger; Brother Kirby Blehinger; Uncle Ronald Binkley; Father and Mother In Law John and Jane Farley and countless other family members and friends. Brent was a graduate of Wauwatosa East (1987), and later received a degree from UW-Madison. He was an extremely committed and proud volunteer firefighter with the New Berlin Fire Department, Ladder 5, and shared a special brotherhood with his fellow firefighters. Brent had a love and passion for everything outdoors, including hunting, firearms, teaching hunter safety, fishing, shark tooth hunting, and watching beautiful brilliant beach sunsets. He cherished doing all of these things with those he loved most. He loved history and politics and in his own witty way would express his stance, and loved a spirited debate. Brent cheered on his Green Bay Packers (and anyone playing the Chicago Bears), Wisconsin Badgers, and Milwaukee Brewers, faithfully! Brent is remembered for his kind and generous spirit, being a mentor and teacher at home and at work, and his smart and witty character. He never met a stranger, and brought such joy and happiness to all that knew him. A memorial Celebration of Brent’s Life will be held at Hose Tower in the historic district of Greendale, WI on November 2, 2019. 5699 Parking Street Greendale, WI 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM. In addition, Brent’s life will be celebrated at sunset in Venice, where he lived and loved the Gulf of Mexico on October 19, 2019 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Manasota Beach Club 7660 Manasota Key Road Engel wood, FL. 34223.
